JK: Senior police injured in militants attack

Baramulla, Nov 21: A senior police officer was injured when militants attacked Sopore police station with rifle grenades late on Thursday, Nov 20 night, official sources said on Friday, Nov 21.

They said militants fired rifle grenades towards the police station from an unknown place.

One of the grenade exploded near the police station causing injuries to Station House Officer (SHO).

He was rushed to Srinagar hospital, sources said adding a massive hunt had been launched to nab the militants responsible for the attack.
