Rs 20 crore flyover for Jalandhar approved

Chandigarh, Nov 21 (UNI) Punjab Government has decided to spend Rs 20 crore to construct a flyover on BMC chowk, Jalandhar.

To give final touches to the project a high level meeting was presided over by Local Bodies and industries Minister Manoranjan Kalia here today.

Mr Kalia said all aspects of the project were discussed at length to clear all the bottle necks. He said that the project of flyover would be finalized in all respects by December 12, 2008 to start its construction work at the earliest.

Prominent amongst other who were present in the meeting included Mr D S Bains, Principal Secretary Local Government, Mr Samir Kumar, Director, Local Government and other senior officers.
