Politicians from outside state not allowed private security
Bhopal, Nov 21 (UNI) The Election Commission has issued directions that political leaders from others states would not be allowed to keep private security vehicle or guards during their visit.
An Election Commission spokesperson said security would be provided as per pre-determined norms to important political leaders, including those coming under 'Z Plus' and SPG security cover.
Political leaders with 'X', 'Y', and 'Z' security cover would be allowed keep their official personal security officer (PCO) but private security vehicle and security guard would not be allowed.
Political leaders arriving on visit will have to inform the state chief electoral officer, district returning officer and the Superintendent of Police, about their visit three days back.
Videography of such leaders would be carried out.
