NSA calls upon Advani to brief on Malegaon investigations

New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) National Security Advisor M K Naryanan called upon Leader of Opposition L K Advani today to brief him on ATS investigations into Malegaon blast amid reports alleging that the accused were conspiring to target top RSS leaders.

The meeting took place at the residence of Mr Advani in the wake of his telephonic conversations with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who called him after Mr Advani raised objections about ill-treatment meted out to Malegaon blast case key accused Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur at a public meeting in Chhattisgarh.

Earlier BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy confirmed the reports that Mr Narayanan would be calling on Mr Advani. Details of the briefings are still not known.
