Mischa Barton launches own website to banish false rumours about her
Washington, Nov 21 : Mischa Barton has launched her own website to counteract false reports about her personal life.
The former The O.C. star, who's a tabloid favourite, thanks to her hard-partying ways and Hollywood pals, has launched www.mischabarton.celebuzz.com.
The stunner said that she's sick of misconstrued stories surrounding her life, and hopes the new site will let fans know the truth, reports Contactmusic.
In a video message on the website, she says, "This is something I've really wanted for a long time, I'm just excited to have a real connection with my fans and put some truth out there."
"I just think there's all kinds of misconceptions on the Internet these days and I really think that the Internet can be used for good and for bad and there's all kinds of crap that's written about me.
"Half the time I look at the internet and read these stories and they're just so outlandish and not true at all and I don't want my fans to have the wrong idea of who I am as a person."
