Malegaon blast prime accused undergoes narco test

Bangalore, Nov 21 (UNI) Prime accused in Malegaon blast Lt Col Prasad Purohit was subjected to narco analysis test by the officials in the Forensic Science Labs here today.

FSL sources confirmed the conduct of the test. It is learnt that the first serving Army officer had revealed something to the officials in the four-hour-long test.

The Army officer, arrested in Pune on Wednesday, is among the people arrested so far in the September 29 malegaon blast that killed six people. The others, include Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and ex-serviceman Ramesh Upadhyay.

Upadhyay and Sudhakar Chaturvedi had earlier undergone narco tests in the city in connection with the case.
