Farmers advised to complete sowing of wheat by month-end

Hisar, Nov 21 (UNI) The Scientists of Ch.Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University here have advised the farmers to complete the sowing of wheat crop with certified seeds of the varieties : WH 711, PBW 343, WH 147 and UP 2338 up to end of the November.

They are also advised to complete the sowing of Barley crop under Irrigated condition with certified seeds of the varieties: BH 393, C 164, BG 25 and BH 75 up to end of this month.

In view of likely dry and clear weather for the next five days, farmers were also advised to irrigate the timely sown Mustard/Raya crop.
