Explosives seized in naxal-hit UP district
Sonebhadra, Nov 21 (UNI) A cache of explosives was seized from a crusher field in Obra area of this Naxal-infested Uttar Pradesh district today.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Ram Kumar said 600 gunny bags of amonium nitrate were recovered from a truck, which had come here from Raipur (Chhattisgarh).
The seizure weighed 32 tonnes, he added.
Besides Sonebhadra, Chandauli and Mirzapur are the Naxal affected districts in the state.
