Border entry points to be computerised at Bangla border

New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) The Government has decided to computerise all the border entry points at Indo-Bangladesh border to ensure proper monitoring of people coming into the country.

At a high-level meeting chaired by Secretary Border Management Jarnail Singh yesterday, it was decided to complete the process within 15 to 20 days.

The method would help in checking the influx of people on forged documents and ensure proper monitoring system for their return.

The meeting was attended by senior officials of the Intelligence Bureau, External Affairs Ministry and National Register Citizen representatives.
