Arm licences of SP leaders to be cancelled

Bhadohi, Nov 21 (UNI) The process of cancellation of arm licences of altogether 17 jailed Samajwadi Party (SP) leaders, some of whom have minister level status, started today.

Police had detained as many as 66 party workers, when they were agitating the registration of a case against 500 people in connection with the October 28 violence, sources said.

The arrested were put in the district jail.
