10-day programme for JKSCB, first in the country
Srinagar, Nov 21 (UNI) In order to upgrade and improve the skill and proficiency of officers of the Jammu and Kashmir State Cooperative Bank (JKSCB), the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has organised a 10-day programme, first in the country, after implementation of the Vaidynathan Revival Package.
Chief General Manager, NABARD, A K Mathur said the programme is aimed at upgrading and improving the skill of the bank staff.
He said this is the first programme in the country to be conducted after the implementation of Vaidynathan Revival Package.
Speaking after inaugurating the programme yesterday, he expressed the hope that this programme will prove fruitful in improving the technical and behavioral skills of the employees.
He assured that conducting of such programmes shall now be a continuous process.
Mr Mathur apprised the forum that NABARD is taking all measures to equip the Cooperative banks of the country to fight the competitive environment, which emerged after the global financial meltdown.
