Two Praja Pratighatana Dalam members killed in encounter

Warangal, AP, Nov 20 (UNI) Two naxals of the Praja Pratighatana Dalam were killed in an exchange of fire in the forest area of Thathamanch village of Govindaraopet Mandal of the district here today.

According to police, when a police patrol party, which was conducting vehicle checks, asked the naxals travelling on a two wheeler to stop, they opened fire at the police.

The police returned the fire in self-defence, killing the two naxals.

Police identified the deceased as S Babu and Durambash Mallu. The bodies were sent for post mortem.

Police seized the two wheeler and fire arms from the spot.
