Two dead, one hurt in road accident
Kozhikode, Nov 20 (UNI) Two people were killed and another was seriously injured when they were knocked down by a speeding mini-lorry at Adivaram, near Thamarassery, in the district early today.
Police identified the deceased as Poorna and Srinivas from Vijayawada, cleaner and cook respectively of a bus proceeding to Sabarimala Ayyappa temple with pilgrims, They were standing near their vehicle after replacing a deflated tyre when the accident occurred, police said.
The seriously injured Ram Babu, driver of the bus, was admitted to the Medical College Hospital here.
