Two bodies recovered near Metro construction site

New Delhi, Nov 20 (UNI) Two unidentified bodies were found today near Delhi Metro construction site in Nangloi Jat area.

The bodies were discovered partially under the loose earth in the median of the road under the Metro viaduct of the upcoming Inderlok-Mundaka corridor, said a Delhi Metro spokesman.

He said that loose earth was being brought by a tractor, and placed below the viaduct for greening of the area. The height of the earth dumping was 20 cms only, he pointed out.

Contractor M/s Punj Lloyd was responsible for greening the area under the Metro viaduct, he said.

The bodies have not been identified. The area is a non- protected area and not barricaded, as soft plantation activity was going on.

The bodies have been taken away by the police and sent for post mortem.
