In a joint statement here yesterday, Forest Minister J P Nadda, IPH Minister Ravinder Singh Ravi and Health Minister Rajiv Bindal said during the rule of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh 2,912 persons were given jobs on chits.

They alleged that during recruitment in the police department in 1997, physically inelibile persons were recruited from a particular area.
