Security to be hiked at Indo-Nepal border

Gonda, Nov 20 (UNI) To check the rising activities of the anti-national elements as well the smuggling syndicates, security will be beefed up on the Indo-Nepal border.

According to official sources today, four companies of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) would be deployed on the border, besides additional women wing would also be pressed in service for better security arrangements.

Check-posts would also be set-up in Sonauli and Rupaideeha areas.

The tight security net would reel a check on the ISI activities, infiltration and smuggling of fake currency and psychotropic substances at the border, the sources added.
