PWD electricity inspector arrested
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nov 20 (UNI) The sleuths of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided the house of an assistant electricity inspector, working with Public Works Department (PWD), and arrested him after finding unaccounted wealth worth Rs 16.07 lakh here.
According to ACB sources, a person had lodged complaint with the ACB against the accused Ashok Ramprakash Verma, demanding inquiry of his wealth.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police Sangram Sangale, along with his team swung into action and conducted a search of his house yesterday. Documents were found, pertaining to acquisition of a plot, farm, car, motorcycle, term deposits in various banks and post office in the name of Verma and his wife Rucha Verma.
Various teams of ACB were engaged in search of his house in Ulkanagari, Turkabad, farm at Rahimpur, plot in Shahnoorwadi area and a shop in Kuber Avenue in Jalna till late last night.
Sangale lodged a complaint with the concerned police station against Verma.
