Punjab International Trade Expo commences on Dec 3

Amritsar, Nov 20 (UNI) An estimated 100 odd exhibitors, inclduing many from Pakistan will showcase will their products at the Punjab International Trade Expo, PITEX 2008.

The Trade Expo to be organised by the PHD Chamber will be held at the Guru Nanak Stadium here from December 3 to December 7.

The event would be an integrated approach to serve as a generator of economic growth and development and would provide an opportunity for businessmen and traders from the South Asian countries to interact with each other.

This would be the biggest international exposition in the whole of North India and would give ample opportunities to industry, entrepreneurs and corporate sectors from within the country and various South Asian countries to flourish further and showcase their vast potential.

PITEX 2008 would have a world class infrastructure to accommodate a large number of exhibitors, business and government delegates from both within the country and overseas. More than one lakhc business and general visitors are expected to visit the event.
