MPHC bail to SIMI workers
Jabalpur, Nov 20 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh High Court today granted bail to three workers of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).
After hearing the plea of the accused Mohammad Akil Khilji, Javed Gauri and Mohammad Asif -- who were in judicial custody after being arrested at Khandwa on April 10, 2006 along with SIMI's Iman-ur-Rahman, Safiq Siddiqui, Khaleel Ahmad and six others -- Justice R C Mishra granted bail on bonds of Rs 40,000 each.
Objectionable documents were seized from the accused. Rahman, Siddiqui and Ahmad were granted bail on April 2, 2007.
