Meerut murder case: Priyanka is lesbian, say relatives

Meerut , Nov 19 (UNI) In a new twist to the Meerut double murder case, relatives of Priyanka Singh, have alleged that she was having a lesbian relationship with her friend Anju, with whose help she allegedly killed her parents.

Priyanka's aunt, Prabhawati Devi has also demanded separate narco test on her and Anju.

Priyanka and her friend Anju are the prime accused in the double murder of the former's parents - father Premveer Singh and mother Santosh.

Her relatives also see certain loopholes in the version of police, investigating the double murder, and have said Priyanka and her friend can not commit the murder without the help of others who might have helped them in the act.

According to the police, on November 10, Priyanka visited her parents' home at Prayag Colony in Meerut along with Anju on the pretext of getting her mark sheet.

However, an altercation broke during which Priyanka allegedly throttled her mother. Hearing the commotion, her father, a retired Junior Engineer, rushed to the room but he too was killed, allegedly by the duo, with a kitchen knife.

Post murder, both the girls fled with valuables and dumped the knife in a drain.

According to her relatives, Anju, in order to continue her relationship with her friend, got Priyanka married to her younger brother, Ajendra, who is four years younger to Priyanka.

Superintendent of police Rakesh Jolly said they were investigating the case in the light of emerging facts.
