Janardhan Singh Gehlot joins BJP in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Nov 20 (UNI) Congress leader and former Minister Janardhan Singh Gehlot who was denied party ticket from Karauli Assembly constituency, today joined the ruling BJP.
Mr Gehlot was inducted in the saffron fold at the party state headquarters here in the presence of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, BJP General Secretary Gopinath Munde, party Treasurer Ramdas Agrawal and State President Om Prakash Mathur.
Mr Gehlot told reporters that he had departed ways from the Congress in protest against state president C P Joshi's 'rude' behavior and "misappropriation in allotment of the party tickets".
