IT dept employee arrested in Ranchi

Ranchi, Nov 20 (UNI) A CBI team today arrested a tax assistant from the income tax department office here while taking bribe for a departmental work.

Acting on a complaint of one Mahboob Alam, the team raided the department office and arrested Sanjay Kumar, a senior tax assistant, official sources said.

The tax assistant had asked for gratification to dispatch an official letter, sources added.
