House wife ends life owing to dowry harassment
Kakinada, Nov 20 (UNI) A 20-year-old house wife committed suicide by consuming a petsicide at her residence in Cheyyeru village today allegedly due to dowry harassment.
According to Katrenikona Police, the woman Chintalapudi Mahalakshmi alias Swetha (20), was married to Chithalapudi Satyanarayana (26) a year ago. But the in-laws had been harassing her as it was a love marriage and without dowry.
A case of dowry death under section 304 B was registered.
The body was sent for post mortem, pending further investigation.
