Haryana to give aid to NGOs for women welfare
Chandigarh, Nov 20 (UNI) Haryana Women and Child Development Department has invited applications for providing financial assistance to registered voluntary organisations engaged in imparting training to women to make them self-reliant, implementing child welfare schemes and running training programmes for them.
The last date of receipt of the applications has been fixed as November 25.
While stating this here today, the spokesman of the department said that only those organisations could apply for the financial assistance which had been working as registered organisations for the last three years for the development of women and children especially in rural areas and slum areas of the cities.
