Dasmunsi continues to remain on ventilator support
New Delhi, Nov 20 (UNI) Union Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, who has been on ventilator support for over a month following a complete left ventricular failure, today showed no signs of improvement.
''The medical condition of Mr Dasmunsi remains the same and he continues to be on ventilator support,'' said a spokesperson for the Apollo hospital, where Mr Dasmunsi is admitted.
He was admitted to AIIMS on October 13, after suffering a complete left ventricular failure and was shifted to the Indraprastha Apollo hospital a week later.
Earlier, he had suffered a heart attack on July six while on way to Kolkata from Malda after attending a meeting.
Mr Dasmunsi had undergone an angioplasty and stenting of two coronary arteries in a hospital in Kolkata. He also has a history of diabetes and hypertension.
