Contraband goods confiscated in Kishanganj
Kishanganj, Nov 20 (UNI) Contraband foreign goods, worth around Rs 2 lakh, were confiscated from the brake van of Kolkata-bound 3150 Kanchanjunga Express at Kishanganj railway station in Bihar today.
Customs sleuths in joint operation with the RPF (Railway Protection Force), headed by customs superintendent N K Sinha, acting on a tip-off forced open the brake van of the Guwahati-Sealdah Kanchanjunga Express, as soon as it entered the Kishanganj station this morning and seized the contraband, customs officials said.
However, no arrest was made.
