threatened
the
supervisor
of
a
sand
godown
with
dire
consequences
for
smuggling
sand
to
Kerala.
A
case
has
been
registered
in
the
Kinathukadavu
Police
in
the
Coimbatore
Rural
Police
limits.
According
to
police,
the
supervisor,
Saravanan,
had
lodged
a
complaint
that
Mr.
Velumani
and
a
few
others
had
come
to
the
godown,
alleged
that
sand
was
being
smuggled
to
Kerala
and
also
threatened
to
cause
harm
to
him.
Cases
for
unlawful
assembly,
trespass
and
threat
to
murder
were
filed
against
the
MLA
and
10
others.
