BJP playing politics over terrorism: Digvijay
Ratlam, MP, Nov 20 (UNI) Charging the BJP with adopting double standards over terrorism, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh today said terrorism had no religion.
Talking to newspersons here today, Mr Singh said branding terrorism as 'Hindu' or 'Muslim' terrorism was incorrect.
The BJP had stated that politics should not be played over terrorism but was itself doing so.
Replying to a question over the action taken by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad, he said the BJP was trying to create pressure.
On being questioned how many seats will the Congress win during assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh, Mr Singh said it was difficult to say but said the party will get a comfortable majority.
He said regional parties like the Bharatiya Jan Shakti and the BSP will cut votes but not win seats. ''The role of national parties will be important in state politics,'' he added.
