BECIL presents 2.8 crore dividend cheque
New Delhi, Nov 20 (UNI) Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) CMD Harkesh Gupta today handed over a dividend cheque of Rs 280.65 lakhs to the Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and External Affairs, Anand Sharma.
The dividend earned in 2007-08 is over two and a half times than the previous year when it was Rs 104 lakhs. The dividend is over 205 per cent of the BECIL paid up capital of 136.50 lakhs.
The company achieved a turnover of around Rs 120 crores during 2007-08, an official statement said.
BECIL is a well established consulting agency, system integrator and turnkey solution provider in all spheres of broadcast engineering. It also undertakes operation and maintenance of various types of broadcast systems. Set up in 1995, its client list includes Government, semi Government, overseas and private organisations.
