Two officials sent to jail for taking bribe in Bihar
Patna, Nov 19 (UNI) The special vigilance court of B K Srivastav today sent two employees, including Purnia division in-charge of the Minority Finance Commission Md Naushad Alam, to jail till December 2 for taking bribe.
Md Alam and another employee of the Commission were produced before the court during the day after which they were taken under judicial custody.
Both accused were arrested yesterday by the vigilance sleuths in Purnia when they were taking bribe from a person at their office.
As per the charges, the guilty officials had demanded a bribe of Rs 5000 for releasing a loan, sanctioned by the Commission.
