Sonia to campaign in MP
Bhopal, Nov 19 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and general Secretary Rahul Gandhi will campaign in favour of party candidates in the assembly elections at different places in Madhya Pradesh, PCC chief Suresh Pachouri said today.
The Prime Minister will address an election meeting at Badwani on November 22, while Ms Gandhi will address election meetings on the same day at Jabalpur and Indore.
She is also scheduled to address meetings on November 24, though the itinerary was yet to be finalised, Mr Pachouri added.
Mr Rahul Gandhi will address meetings at Harda, Jhabua, Mandsaur and Jeerapur (Rajgarh) tomorrow. He will also visit Anuppur and Bhopal on November 25 when campaigning for 230 constituencies figuring in the November 27 poll would come to an end.
Ms Sonia Gandhi had campaigned in neighbouring Chhattisgarh only on the last day of campaigning for the second phase of poll, while Mr Rahul Gandhi addressed several meetings.
