Precious metals up on bullish advice
Mumbai, Nov 19: Both the precious metals rose on Wednesday, Nov 19, with silver increasing by Rs 120 per kg and gold by Rs 20 per ten gm from their yesterday's finish, following good demand from ornament makers, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association said.
In Asian market too, a positive trend was witnessed as gold was recorded at USD 738.00/738.50 (736.00/736.25) per troy ounce, while silver was quoted at USD 09.43/09.44 (09.39/09.40) per troy ounce. Following are the spot silver and gold closing prices: Silver (per kg) .999 grade: Rs 16,815 Gold (per 10 gm): Standard mint 99.5 purity: Rs 12,005 Pure gold 99.9 purity: Rs 12,070.
