EC announces poll schedule for MLC seat

Hyderabad, Nov 19 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Commission today announced that election for one seat in the Legislative Council at Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Graduates' constituency, will be held on December 15.

The MLC seat fell vacant following the resignation of sitting (MLC) R Satyanarayana.

As per schedule, the notification for the election will be issued on November 21. The last date for filing nominations is November 28 while the scrutiny will be done on the next day. The last date for withdrawal of candidature will be on December 1.

The election process, including counting, will be completed before December 20, according to an official press release here today.
