Two arrested for taking bribe in Bihar

Patna, Nov 18(UNI) Vigilance sleuths today arrested two employees, including the Purnia division in-charge of the minorty finance commission Md Naushad Alam, when they were taking bribe.

ADG vigilance Neelmani said here that the bureau had constituted a task force following a complain that Md Alam had demanded a bribe of Rs 50,000 for releasing a loan sanctioned by the commission.

He said that the task force laid a trap and finally arrested Md Alam and an employee of the commission when they were receiving the bribe from the complainant at their Purnia office.

Both the arrested were being brought to the headquarters for interrogation.
