Poll officer suspended in Chhattisgarh
Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, Nov 18: A presiding officer has been suspended with immediate effect for laxity in his duty towards poll work at Mohala Manpur constituency in this district.
District Panchayat's Chief Eexecutive Officer and Returning Officer T K Verma on Nov 18 said accused Lakhanlal, who was deployed at booth number 82 at Madianvadvi, had shut down the control unit disrupting polling for sometime on November 14.
The Zonal Officer immediately arranged additional control unit to facilitate and uninterrupted polling.
