Ideacts launches Deepfreeze for cyber cafe systems

Ahmedabad, Nov 18 (UNI) Ideacts Innovations Private Limited (IIPL), an internet media company, headquartered in Mumbai, has forged a strategic alliance with Faronics, a Vancouver (Canada) based market leader in delivering solutions that help to manage, simplify and secure computing environments, to launch its flagship product DeepFreeze in the Indian market.

The partnership, which was announced today, targets the wide network of public terminals at Cyber Cafes to ensure they remain virus-free.

Cyber Cafes in India are the largest, cheapest and the most accessed touch point for internet today and contribute 36-40 per cent of the online traffic in India. IIPL has an innovative business model to create advertising platform for brands across the white labeled, fragmented market of Cyber Cafes in India.

''Our alliance with Faronics will enable cyber cafe owners to maintain virus free environment, give the systems immunity against malconfiguration and prevent degradation. Their customers also get benefitted by cleaner systems that inspite of having multiple users, maintain a virus free configuration.'' IIPL's flagship product CLINCK, an active desktop application, is positioned as a one to one interactive communication medium that becomes an interface via which user access the internet in cyber cafes, Mr Pandit said.
