Abandoned car seized

Puducherry, Nov 18(UNI) Puducherry Police last night seized an abandoned car in the new bus stand here.

Police said during their routine check, they came across a car parked inside the bus stand. When the police team went near the vehicle to inspect it, occupants of the car ran away. The car was marked with Tamil Nadu Registration Number.

Police suspected that the car might have been stolen from somewhere and brought to Puducherry to commit crimes.

Steps were taken to trace the owner of the car. Efforts were on to trace the two accused, police added.
