Officials with poll duties not to be transferred

Chandigarh, Nov 17 (UNI) The Haryana Government has issued directions that the officers and officials, connected with preparations of electoral rolls and election to the Municipal Council, Bahadurgarh in district Jhajjar, Municipal Committees, Mandi Dabwali in district Sirsa and Pinjore in district Panchkula should not be transferred upto December 31.

A circular to this effect issued by the Chief Secretary states that in such cases, where it is considered necessary to transfer any officer connected with the conduct of election to the above mentioned Municipalities, the approval of the State Election Commission may also be obtained.
