IT professionals organise support for Lankan Tamils
Chennai, Nov 17 (UNI) Now it's the turn of IT professionals to join the bandwagon to muster support for the cause of Eelam Tamils, who were subjected to genocide at the hands of the Sri Lankan military troops.
After political parties, film stars, artistes and TV artistes, about 250 IT professionals organised a human chain to espouse the cause of Tamils.
Popular actor Surya and his brother Karthi inaugurated the human chain held in front of the Tidel Park at Taramani.
The human chain was organised to urge the Centre not to extend any military assistance to the the Sri Lankan Government and to take steps to ceasefire in the strife-torn nation.
All the IT professionals working in the Tidel Park and from other software companies participated in the human chain rally to stop killing of innocent Tamils in the island nation.
