Four militants killed in encounter in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 17 (UNI) Four militants were killed today in a fierce encounter in north Kashmir, going to polls in the fourth phase of elections on December 7.

Official sources said that a search operation was launched at Bali Behak, Uri, in Baramulla district, following a tip off about the presence of the militants.

During the operation, the militants opened fire, ensuing a fierce encounter.

They said four militants were killed in the encounter. Four AK rifles and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants.
