Calicut varsity to conduct job fair

Kozhikode, Nov 17 (UNI) Hundreds of job aspirants are expected to participate in a job fair to be organised by the Calicut Unviersity at its campus in Tenhipalam, near here, on November 22 and 23.

About 12 leading corporate houses in IT, BPO, insurance and trade would come for the selection, a university release here today said.

Students graduated from colleges affiliated to the university are eligible for participation, the release said adding those appearing for final exams during the months of March-April would also be preferred.

Prominent among the companies taking part in the fair are HCL, Maersk, Sitel and Reliance. Vice-Chancellor Anwar Jahan Zuberi will inaugurate the fair.
