663 of 1139 poll code violation cases solved in MP

Bhopal, Nov 17 (UNI) Out of 1,139 cases related to violation of model code of conduct and other similar complaints received during Madhya Pradesh assembly polls 663 were solved by the election officials.

Official sources said maximum 61 cases were investigated on the directives of Election Commission and rest cases were solved at different levels. Eighteen such cases were referred to Home and Public Grievances Redressal Departments.

At divisional-level, 41 cases were solved in Chambal division, Gwalior 86, Ujjain 53, Bhopal 62, Narmadapuram 17, Sagar 24, Jabalpur 50, Rewa 65, Shahdol 21, while Chief Electoral Officer solved four cases.
