Winter still eludes capital, though mornings little 'cooler'
New Delhi, Nov 16 (UNI) Winter-gazers are still wringing their arms to welcome the proverbial 'Dill ki sardi' even as temperature continues to remain at 29.2 degree celsius, on the 'warmer side', and considered normal during mid-November.
Even as evenings bring memories of 'nip in the air' and early mornings reminding Delhiites of winter being just round the corner, day time continues to remain warm and at times sweaty with sun claiming most part of the day.
Also, the minimum temperature recorded for today was 13.1 degrees which was one degree above normal at this time of the year, said the weatherman.
Predicting a mainly cloudy sky, the India Meteorological Department said mornings shall remain misty with shallow fog and the day would remain as warm as now for the next 24 hrs as well.
