Saudi delegation to visit AMU, Osmania

Dubai, Nov 16 (UNI) A high-level Saudi delegation will visit India's Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and Osmania University for mutual cooperation in higher education, said professor Dr Hashim Bakar Hariri, Vice President of Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah.

Dr Hariri was speaking as chief guest at Sir Syed Day function organised by the AMU Old Boys, Jeddah Chapter, at La Sani Restaurant, Jeddah.

A large number of old boys attended the function which was presided over by Hasan Ghias.

Ghias shared his experience of Aligarh and called upon the alumni to do their best to support their alma mater, the Arab News reported.

Shakeel Ahmed, consul at the Consulate General of India, was the guest of honour.
