Orthodox Church followers take out rally

Kottayam, Nov 16 (UNI) In a show of strength, tens of thousands of followers of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church took part in a rally and public meeting held in protest against ''denial of justice'' to the Church and delay in implementing the Supreme Court orders in the Church case by the Kerala Government.

The rally was taken out from the Nagambadom maidan to the Baselios College grounds, venue of the public meeting.

Catholicos-designate Paulose Mar Milithios inaugurated the rally, which was led by Metropolitans of the Church.

Catholicos and Malankara Metropolitan Baselios Mar Thoma Didymus-I inaugurated the public meeting.
