Modi to visit Uganda, Kenya from Nov 17-20
Gandhinagar, Nov 16 (UNI) A delegation of Gujarat Government, led by Chief Minister Narendra Modi, would visit Uganda and Kenya for four days from tomorrow.
The delegation is visiting the two East African Countries -- Uganda and Kenya -- on the invitations extended by Uganda's President Mr Yowri Musheveni and Kenyan Prime Minister Mr Raila Odinga, an official release said here today.
Earlier, besides Uganda and Kenya, Mr Modi was to visit South Africa and Qatar from today -- but it was curtailed due to his campaign tours for the Assembly elections.
The visit is primarily aimed at inviting investments mainly from Gujarat businessmen and industrialists, settled in these countries, the release said.
