Major tragedy averted in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 16 (UNI) Security forces foiled yet another attempt by militants to trigger a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, where polling will be held in the fourth phase on December 7.

Official sources said today a joint patrol party of state police and 192 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) noticed a pressure cooker near Laiser bridge at Dangiwacha.

The area was immediately sealed and traffic on the bridge was stopped.
