In view of elections in Poonch, cross border bus postponed

Srinagar, Nov 16 (UNI) The weekly cross-Line of Control (LoC) bus service at Chakan-da-Bagh has been postponed by a day because of elections in three Assembly segments in Poonch district.

The bus service was scheduled to operate from tomorrow.

An official spokesman said here this evening that the date for weekly crossing of passengers at LoC at Chakan-da-Bagh, Poonch scheduled for tomorow, has been changed because of polling.

He said the bus service will now ply on November 18.

The spokesman has said that all arrangements have been made in this regard and also confirmation has been sought from Pakistan.
