HM activists arrested for showing black flags against CM

Coimbatore, Nov 16 (UNI) Police today arrested about 20 Hindu Munnani activicts at Gandhipuram here when they showed black flags and shouted slogans against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

Police said the demonstrators were protesting against Mr Karunanidhi for not taking action on various issues, including attack on an RSS worker in Kancheepuram.

Police said the agitators also demanded the Chief Minister to resign for failure of the police to take action during the clash in Dr Ambedkar Government Law College in Chennai last week.
