Four killed, 2 injured in Jammu road mishaps

Jammu, Nov 16 (UNI) Four people died and two were injured in different road accidents in the last 24 hours in Jammu region, police reports here today said.

''One person died and two others sustained injuries when a vehicle in which they were travelling, rolled down at Manjakote late last night,'' sources told UNI, adding that the injured were hospitalised.

The deceased has been identified as Mohd Yaqoob, resident of Sagra.

In another incident, one person was killed when a car in which he was travelling skidded off the road at Digdol in Ramban district.

''The police party, on receiving the information, rushed to the spot and evacuated the driver where he succumbed to his injuries,'' they said.

Meanwhile, one Rattan Lal, resident of Tataryal, who got injured in an accident at Sangrampur, was shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him as brought dead while an injured, identified as Mohan Lal resident of R S Pura, who was admitted in GMC Jammu since November 5 as an accident case, died today, police said.
